In the summer of 2005, the Quebec based company DNA Goji Plus was
created. The company started to market their product under the trade name Goji plus. In April 2007, the company incorporated under the name DNA Fruitonix inc.
One might say that the Goji juice blend was born of a labor of love. Anna and Antoinette Tiseo are two sisters with a sharp mind, keen business skills,
and 20 years experience in the health and beauty field. These two moms have six children between them, any of which were always coming down with a host of
childhood colds and infections. It was just happening too often. Tired and concerned about the effects of constantly having their children’s doctors
prescribing drugs, the moms were motivated to look for a healthful and safe alternative that could maximize their children’s health. With the negative side
effects associated with the usage of antibiotic drugs (which are sometimes inevitable), the focus was on maintaining and promoting health, rather than
repairing once the damage was done. Of course the children naturally liked drinking juices, so it seemed obvious that their solution would lie with something
that the kids would be inclined to do effortlessly. They became eager students of the functional beverage industry.
After thorough research and intense
scrutiny, they discovered that most functional beverages on the market left much to be desired in terms of nutrient content. This was a problem because each
one of them was blended with sugary juices of cheaper value and lower nutrient content. As frustration grew, the quest to find premium grade, nutrient dense
ingredients, led them to search the four corners of the earth. What they discovered was berries and fruits of exceptional nutritional value that had been used
for thousand of years by the indigenous people of Tibet, Mongolia, and Brazil. After a year-long endeavor, and with the collaboration of highly skilled
biochemists, a truly healthful and nutrient dense beverage was born; DNA Fruitonix goji juice blend.
